We’re excited to announce that Erik Anderson has been hired as the new YS programming director for NYWC!
At Youth Specialties, we’re always looking for ways to lead, innovate and support youth workers—all with the ultimate goal of Advancing Youth Ministry. Over the last year, our leaders have engaged in prayerful discernment about who should join our team–and in what role. It was clear that we needed someone to guide the National Youth Workers Convention and other adult leader events and programs.
We’re happy to announce Erik Anderson as our new programming director for youth workers. Erik was formerly at Crossroads Church in Woodbury, Minn., in several pastoral roles, including as the pastor of high school ministries. Erik also has experience in youth ministry roles in California. He has programmed large events for teenagers, most notably CHIC, a Covenant church gathering for high schoolers.
About his new role at YS, he said, “I love the heart behind YS. Being a part of a fantastic team to inspire youth workers to be the best they can be is a dream come true. YS loves to blend Jesus and fun!”
We welcome Erik to the team and pray that God will use him—and Youth Specialties as a whole—to advance youth ministry and further the kingdom.
