Getting students to talk, no matter the setting can be extremely challenging. Being prepared and having a plan is the only way you will get them to talk. Often times, students won’t talk because they are intimated, sometimes they don’t think they have anything good to say, sometimes they are just bored. There are tools at your disposal; you just have to access them.
